Hi, I love Space, most people like it for the secrets it hides and the possibility of exploration, now don’t get me wrong I love it for that, but my main reason for loving space is the idea of it, the idea of falling through darkness with pinpricks of light and colourful gaseous clouds.
Staring at the stars and wondering about the secret of the universe whilst freezing my fingers of because its 12am, wishing I was anyone else while wanting to stay right where I am. The joy of reading about some new discovery, this is what I love about space.
I haven’t always loved the research that comes with reading anything space related, but it’s something I’ve come to appreciate, whenever I read an article on some new discovery I always have to look at its sources and then look at the sources for the sources to make sure it’s not just a clickbait article designed to grab your attention with a flashy name full of buzzwords and a stock sci-fi image, this was a long way to say read the sources before believing everything you read, even the articles here on this very website, how do you know they’re not ai generated? They’re not, I’m real, I think.
This is the part where I write something cheesy about space or something, but I’ve run myself dry for ideas and have no clue what to write or how to write it, so ill leave you with this, the next time you’re out staring at the stars, remember that most of them are dead by now and the light just hasn’t reached us yet. Also, one day we might get unlucky with the path the sun is heading and we might run into something dangerous, like a supernova or a black hole. (I should have done a thing on supernovae
